Principal's Message                   

Well, another month has come and gone and it seems like we just got things started here at school.  Let me begin by sending a big “Thank You” to all our parents, students and staff for your efforts in this year’s Walkathon. We set out to raise  $40,000 and we have reached our goal. We have begun to put the monies into programs and improving the school facilities.  Once a month the school is providing lunch for the students and we have also purchased activity equipment for all classrooms, as well as arranged to make an upgrade to our Big Toy. Having met and made plans with a company for upgrades, hopefully, it won’t be long before we see those improvements.  Once again, thank you for your time, energy, and patience, and of course, for your generous contribution to help improve Immaculate Conception School.

As we say farewell to October we welcome November and look forward to the many activities that are planned for this very busy month.  Student report cards will be sent home on Wednesday, November 26th.  These will be followed quickly by the Three Way Conferences.  Our professional development day is scheduled for Monday, November 10th.  This will enable our families to have a bit of a break as Remembrance Day falls on Tuesday. 

Our Thanksgiving Food Drive was a huge success and was another example of our awareness of the needs of those less fortunate.

We are working with our students on the three R’s, Respect, Resilience and Responsibility.  Parents play a vital role in being their children’s primary educators and encourage and welcome parents to continue to communicate with the staff in regards to their children. We are here as a community of faith working together in guiding and helping our children get to Heaven.  May Mary intercede for us with her Son and may God bless everyone at Immaculate Conception School.
