Dear Parents,

On behalf of the Parish Education Committee, welcome to Immaculate Conception School. We look forward to an exciting and productive year. Choosing to send your child to a Catholic School is paramount in forming a firm religious and educational foundation in your child’s life.  As a parent, you are the primary educator of your child.  Our school will enhance your teaching and initiatives. The curriculum meets the B.C. Ministry of Education requirements and to that is added the Religious Program approved by the Archdiocese of Vancouver. In addition to teaching the curriculum we aim to foster within our children a respect for themselves, their peers, teachers, staff, parents and the community. Working together we can ready our children for high school and whatever life has to offer them in the future.

This policy handbook is given to you to familiarize yourself with our philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures. Please keep it as a reference. Any updated information will be made available at the Immaculate Conception website where a complete copy of the handbook is also available.  Any questions or concerns regarding school policy may be directed to the Education Committee or to our Principal. Specific questions regarding your son or daughter should be directed to his/her teacher as outlined in this handbook. 

The Parish Education Committee is entrusted to help fulfill the expectation you have for your children.  Any opinions, suggestions or observations regarding our school will be welcomed.  Our goal is to have children well rounded in our Faith and to develop a solid scholastic foundation to help further them in their life endeavours.
